Tuesday runoff rivals more alike than notin bid for state Senate

The contest between conservative family men/Sunday school classmates Sam Givhan and Paul Sanford has generated plenty of door-to-door campaigning, roadside signs and civic club speeches, but it hasn’t produced much of what typically prevails when candidates go in search of votes: The two men don’t say negative things about each other.
