Where will she take her truck next?

The Tupelo Mississippi Daily Journal runs a profile on a very successful state and local official in the Magnolia State – Republican Lieutenant Governor Amy Tuck

In January, Governor Tuck will be starting her final year as Mississippi’s Lt. Governor ending another chapter in what has been a long record of service to the people of Mississippi that began when she was elected to the state senate in 1990 as a conservative Democrat.

Tuck was elected to the Office of Lt. Governor in 1999, eventually joining the sweeping tide of conservative, commonsense democrats who joined the Republican Party across the south during that time, and re-elected in 2003 with over 60% of the vote.

The Lt. Governor’s future is widely accepted to be very bright in Mississippi – the only question is what does this Republican Lt. Governor do next – and who will take her place?
