From The Ledger.com:
State Sen. Paula Dockery, R-Lakeland, is seriously considering trying to become the fourth person from Polk County and first woman to be governor of Florida.
Since discussions over the Memorial Day weekend, which began at a party she and husband, C.C. “Doc” Dockery, hosted, Paula Dockery said she has been considering a run against Republican Attorney Gen. Bill McCollum for the GOP nomination next year.
And some supporters in the state Senate and on Facebook are trying to help her make that decision.
