Trial for an Iowa lawmaker accused of drunken driving has been delayed until July 13.
Rep. Kerry Burt, a Waterloo Democrat, was arrested in Ankeny on Feb. 11. A police report shows that Burt’s blood-alcohol level was 0.129 percent, above the legal limit of 0.08 percent.
