David Argall, a state senator roughly two months, already has discovered things he never learned during 24 years in the House and before that as a staffer.
Like a secret staircase in the Capitol leading from the front of the Senate chamber to the majority caucus room one floor below.
”I’ve worked here for 30 years,” said Argall, R-Schuylkill, ”and didn’t know that.”
At age 19, Argall jump-started his career in Harrisburg as a House intern. He was elected in 1984, and spent 24 years representing about 60,000 constituents in Schuylkill and Berks counties.
