From TampaBay.com:
Democratic state Sen. Dan Gelber of Miami Beach officially began his campaign for state attorney general Monday, about a week after bowing out of a tough race for the U.S. Senate.
Gelber’s key Democratic rival for the Senate, U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek of Miami, was racking up early endorsements and outraising him 4-1. Even if Gelber muscled through the primary, he would likely face the popular Republican Gov. Charlie Crist in the general election.
