With the help of a nationally-known crime fighter, Florida law enforcement is cracking down on child pornographers.
June 9th Governor Crist along with attorney general Bill McCollum, FDLE Commissioner Gerald Bailey, and America’s Most Wanted, John Walsh announced the results of “Operation Orange Tree”, a statewide initiative which helps catch some of Florida’s most infamous child pornographers.
During the first statewide sweep, cops busted 77 men, including one this morning here in Leon County. All are accused of downloading child pornography. Officers used a high tech software program recently made available to law enforcement. Governor Crist says keeping Florida’s children safe is a top priority.
