From the Columbus Dispatch:
Republicans upset about the relatively mild penalty former Attorney General Marc Dann was hit with today have found a target for their ire: current Attorney General Richard Cordray.
Dann reached a settlement with Inspector General Thomas P. Charles in which he admitted to a single violation of state election law and agreed to pay $1,000. The Ohio Elections Commission accepted the settlement today in a 5-1 vote.
The settlement was a somewhat anticlimactic end to what could have been a sweeping criminal case against Dann.
