From wcco:
Minnesota House Republicans meet Tuesday to elect a new caucus leader.
They’re picking someone to succeed House Minority Leader Marty Seifert, who resigned the post to pursue a potential campaign for governor.
There are several possible candidates, including Reps. Randy Demmer of Hayfield and Kurt Zellers of Maple Grove. Others are mulling it over.
Republicans hold 47 seats in the 134-member chamber, enough to block the DFL majority from overriding GOP Gov. Tim Pawlenty’s vetoes.
