Rep. Marty Seifert’s first stop in launching his gubernatorial campaign today (Tuesday, July 7) was Fridley, the loading docks of electronics manufacturer Micro Control.
A Republican from Marshall, Seifert brushed aside the question whether a Greater Minnesota candidate can win the governorship — something last done by Gov. Rudy Perpich some 20 years ago.
“The people of Minnesota are looking for solutions. And they’re looking for a leader,” said Seifert.
