From the BostonHerald:
CONCORD, N.H. — Gov. John Lynch is nominating former Deputy Attorney General Michael Delaney to replace Attorney General Kelly Ayotte as New Hampshire’s top cop.
Ayotte resigned effective July 17 to join a growing field of potential candidates in next year’s GOP primary to replace Republican Sen. Judd Gregg, who is not seeking re-election. Lynch, a Democrat, had nominated her in April to a four-year term.
