From NewsOK:
Owen Laughlin, a former Republican state senator from Woodward, said he is considering running for state treasurer in 2010.
Laughlin, 58, said Friday he will decide within two months whether to file in June to seek the Republican nomination.
State Treasurer Scott Meacham, a Democrat, is keeping his options open, a spokesman said Friday. Meacham, elected to his first four-year term in 2006 after being appointed a year earlier to the post by Gov. Brad Henry, may seek re-election and has been mentioned as a candidate for governor or attorney general.
