From DesMoinesRegister.com:
The trial of an Iowa lawmaker accused of drunken driving has been delayed until August.
Rep. Kerry Burt was arrested in Ankeny on Feb. 11. A police report indicates Burt’s blood-alcohol level was 0.129, above the legal limit of 0.08.
Burt’s trial was originally scheduled for June 1, but was continued to give a judge time to consider a motion to suppress evidence.
