From Star-Tribune.com:
State Sen. David Hann, a two-term legislator from Eden Prairie, today became the second Republican in two days to announce their candidacy for governor in 2010.
Hann, a 57-year-old business consultant, was flanked by family members as he made his formal announcement, saying that state policies had driven away business and that Minnesota needed to be restored “to a position of economic vitality.”
Hann, who serves on two Senate education committees, said he would make education reform a centerpiece of his campaign, and that he would push for more local control of school decisions.
