From TownHall.com:
U.S. Senator Mike DeWine has formally announced that he’s a candidate for Ohio attorney general.
The 62-year-old Republican said Wednesday that he’s running “because Ohio is in crisis” with streets in major cities where people are afraid to walk and gang problems throughout the state.
DeWine made the announcement standing in the courtroom where he was sworn in as a county prosecutor in 1976.
Earlier Wednesday, DeWine told The Associated Press he would be nonpartisan.
