Holly Benson, secretary of the Agency for Health Care Administration and a former GOP state House member, said this morning that she’s “still considering” a run for attorney general.
Benson said folks are still talking to her about jumping into the race but that she hasn’t made up her mind. If she did, she’d be challenging Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottkamp, who filed his papers on Monday and formally announced his campaign today.
Benson made her comments at the governor’s mansion, just before Gov. Charlie Crist kicked off a roundtable event about child adoption.
