From Dallas Morning News:
In the bid for Irving’s Texas House District 105 seat, the campaign coffers are filling up. Political jabs have begun stoking bipartisan fires. A center-stage role in the statewide election circus has already been secured.
And the primaries are still seven months away.
What a difference one election cycle – with its 19-vote difference and subsequent court case and recount – can make.
“It’s well-known that the Democrats believe the ’08 results are an indicator for 2010, and they hope to convert that seat to a Democratic seat,” said Jonathan Neerman, chairman of the Dallas County Republican Party.
