From TexasPolitics:
Playing off a new law that allows Attorney General Greg Abbott to direct medical cost payments in child support from purchasing direct medical care to buying health insurance, the attorney general on his political Web site has a new video critical of President Obama’s national health care plan.
Abbott has $9.3 million in his state campaign account, and he is widely believed to be looking at a run for lieutenant governor if incumbent David Dewhurst goes for the U.S. Senate if Kay Bailey Hutchison resigns. But this video has to make one wonder whether Abbott is trying to capitalize on anti-health care sentiment or is actually contemplating his own run for the Senate.
