From Jacksonville.com:
Sink and McCollum make up two-thirds of the state Cabinet, which, along with Crist, oversees various state agencies including the Office of Insurance Regulation and departments of Revenue, Law Enforcement and Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. They also buy and sell state lands and serve as the Board of Executive Clemency. The governor, CFO and attorney general jointly invest more than $100 billion in state funds.
But they can’t talk about Cabinet business outside of prescheduled meetings that are open to the public. So as they flew to and from Tampa for the funeral of slain Tampa police officer Cpl. Mike Roberts, they were just three people talking about, well, just stuff.
Sink shared her Wall Street Journal with McCollum and later offered him half her sandwich (he politely declined). McCollum asked how Sink’s husband, former Democratic gubernatorial candidate Bill McBride, was doing. Sink told McCollum she had fun at a Tampa Bay Rays game the other day (she paid $60 for her ticket). McCollum mentioned his vacation to Banff in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Sink mentioned her time off on the North Carolina coast.
