From ClarionLedger.com:
Mississippi Public Safety Commissioner Steve Simpson says he’s considering a run for state attorney general in 2011.
Simpson is a 50-year-old Gulf Coast attorney who served as circuit judge before being appointed public safety commissioner by Republican Gov. Haley Barbour in May 2008.
Simpson spoke Wednesday with the editorial board of the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal newspaper.
Simpson’s father was a longtime member of the Legislature as was his brother.
