From TheHour.com:
Democrat Andrew S. Garfunkel thinks 10 years as Norwalk’s town clerk make him the perfect candidate to replace Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz.
Garfunkel has filed paperwork to form a campaign to seek the office Bysiewicz will vacate to seek the Attorney General’s office.
“Sometimes the door opens and you have to take the chance,” said Garfunkel, 47, while at a Democratic rally Sunday night in Norwalk. “I am very familiar with the duties of the office… I will go into it full force and wholeheartily.”
