State Attorney General Bill McCollum holds a slim lead in the race for Florida governor, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released on Monday.
McCollum, the Republican, leads Florida Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink, the Democrat, 40-36 percent.
In the race for the Republican nomination, McCollum easily distances State Sen. Paula Dockery 56–7 percent, with 34 percent undecided.
