Republican Mike Cox is the latest candidate to turn in the signatures needed to run for governor on Michigan’s August primary ballot.
Cox turned in more than 25,000 signatures to state elections officials on Wednesday. Only 15,000 valid signatures are needed to make the ballot.
Cox is currently Michigan’s attorney general.
