Attorney General Henry McMaster:
Authorities are hoping a new reward program announced Monday by the state Attorney General’s Office and The Humane Society of the United States will bring in more tips about dog-fighting rings and help to dismantle the problem.
Under the new incentive, anyone providing information leading to the arrest and conviction of an animal fighting participant is eligible for a reward of up to $5,000, doubling the previous award.
