Former state Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager will try to help another Democrat get elected to that office. She’ll appear at a fundraising event for Scott Hassett on June 24th at a Madison home.
Hassett is a former DNR secretary who’s running against Republican Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen this fall. Lautenschlager held the office from 2003 through ’06, when she lost her re-election bid in a Democratic primary.
