From Greenvilleonline.com:
Two Midlands attorneys are headed toward a runoff in two weeks in the Republican nomination for state attorney general, while another pair of Republicans face a runoff for their party’s nomination for lieutenant governor.
Leighton Lord and Alan Wilson were deadlocked for the Republican nomination for attorney general with all but two precincts in one county reporting late Tuesday, according to South Carolina Election Commission unofficial results.
Wilson had won 39 percent of the vote, Lord 37 percent. Whoever wins the Republican runoff for attorney general will face Democrat Matthew Richardson, a Columbia lawyer.
