State Auditor Phil Bryant, a Republican, won election over Democratic nominee Rep. Jamie Franks as the state’s next lieutenant governor on a 291-275 vote lead while Republican Delbert Hosemann was named secretary of state after outpolling Democratic nominee Rob Smith 349 votes to 306.
