Meanwhile, some residents claim significant tax revenue has been lost from the property for fire, police, schools and other essential services.The issue was raised when resident Sally York filed a complaint with Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox’s office, which forwarded the matter to the Michigan Tax Commission.
