Nope, Governor Corzine’s not playing politics here – surely the specifics of his plan just aren’t done yet. Of course if that’s the case, maybe he shouldn’t be talking about it at all.
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — One thing is clear about Tuesday’s elections — New Jersey voters will pick the next state Legislature without knowing where candidates stand on Gov. Jon S. Corzine’s proposal to increase highway tolls to try to solve chronic state fiscal woes.It’s not the candidates’ fault. They can’t react to a plan they haven’t seen, and the Democratic governor hasn’t unveiled details.
