Alabama Secretary of State Beth Chapman is the new president-elect of the National Association of Secretaries of State.
Chapman was elected at the association’s convention in Providence, R.I. Chapman says it’s an honor to represent Alabama in the national elections arena.
She has been on the association’s board since last year.
Chapman is seeking re-election to a second term as secretary of state in November.
