JUNEAU – The state Senate voted late Thursday night to grant Gov. Sarah Palin and the state House the oil tax increase they want.”This is sweeping, this is historic, this is powerful legislation we are passing here tonight,” said Anchorage Democratic Sen. Hollis French.
