Hmmm…First, we bet if you queried folks in Ohio they would tell you that Dann never expected to win this office – and was a little panicked when he pulled it off on Election Day. Second, this is the same Marc Dann who excoriated both he predecessor and opponent for how they ran the office, and when he took office this past January – he did the exact same things that he found so offensive! So, Ohio – we thing statements like Mr. Dann’s ring a bit hollow.

Dann said he ran for attorney general in 2006, not because he wanted a job, but because he believed things dramatically were wrong with government.Corrupt and even dangerous business practices were going unchallenged under GOP administrations at the federal and state levels, he said. Dann noted that since he took office, he has filed 57 environmental cases, more than both of his predecessors combined.
