Why do we call them America's future leaders

Because they are.

Outgoing Republican Lt. Governor Mary Fallin is on track to be elected to the United States Congress in the 5th District in Oklahoma.

As if that’s not enough, if she is elected, as she is widely expected to do, she’ll be just the 2nd woman to represent Oklahoma in Congress.

Fallin won her primary runoff with 63% of the vote.

She faces Democrat David Hunter, and Independent candidate Matthew Woodson in November’s General Election.

Here’s a deeper profile piece from the Tulsa World on Fallin’s race.
