Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, whose office oversaw litigation for the state through outside counsel, issued a statement calling the verdict disappointing and suggesting that he doesn’t yet consider the case closed.
“In the coming days, we will carefully scrutinize the court’s rulings and the jury’s decision and explore possible additional legal options,” he said. “This verdict will not deter us from fighting to uphold and protect shareholder rights.”
