There is definitely a first happening at this year’s Virginia GOP Advance (or anywhere else for that matter)- NFL Cheerleaders will be helping draw a crowd to one office holders hospitality suite.
“Our performance in these next 48 months will determine our future for a long time to come,” said John Hager, state GOP chairman. “There’s no question that Virginia can go either way.”Hager’s predecessor, Ed Gillespie, coined “grand slam” at the 2006 Republican Advance. He urged the party to focus on attracting newcomers, not on infighting.
