This is the second time New York’s Democrat A.G. Andrew Cuomo has tried to use the specter of fear and global terrorism to further his own political cause. First, back in October he played the nuke plant is susceptible to air attack card. The folks, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission actually, who are actually knowledgeable on these types of matters said Cuomo’s fear was unfounded. But, despite the facts against him, he tries again to stir fear in the hearts and minds of New York voters. Here’s what we don’t get – why would Cuomo want to shut down a plant that provides safe, clean, affordable energy to the region while at the same time providing jobs and revenue to the local economy?
