A private note to John Morganelli – the 3rd time won’t be the charm either, if you thought raising money was tough on your first two cracks at the office – try it up against and popular and well funded Tom Corbett who has earned the trust of Pennsylvania voters over the past few years. Best advice to be offered – sit back and wait for the seat to be vacant – trying now would be pure folly which will surely result in failure – with no chance to mount a comeback – if you try now. You’re young, you have a bright future – just not as your state’s attorney general. Or try another line of work – say e-mail marketing.
HARRISBURG — John Morganelli, a district attorney from eastern Pennsylvania, is trying to go where no elected Democrat has gone before: into the state attorney general’s office. But Mr. Morganelli, the five-term prosecutor from Northampton County, will have a tough time reaching his goal because he’s challenging a popular incumbent, Republican Tom Corbett of Shaler.
