From Inforum.com:
Rick Berg, a long-time state legislator, announced today that he will enter the Republican race for North Dakota’s lone U.S. House seat.
Berg, a Fargo real estate development executive, became the third Republican to declare his candidacy to be the party’s choice to unseat Rep. Earl Pomeroy, D-N.D., who is seeking his 10th term.
Berg’s announcement came this morning at the Fargo Theatre in downtown Fargo. He also scheduled appearances in Hettinger, N.D., where he grew up, Bismarck, Minot and Grand Forks.
First elected to the North Dakota House in 1984, Berg is a former House GOP leader who announced last year that he would not seek another state legislative term.

Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson got the language written into the bill. It drew objections from attorneys general in more than a dozen states, and on Friday Nelson said he wanted the provision stripped out.
