Is Democrat Greg Stumbo pushing the ‘Reset-Career’ Button? After the whole DUI arrest (apparently he said he was too drunk to tell the police he had a designated driver), then that nasty paternity suit(s) situation (his former mistress wanted child support for the boy Stumbo fathered while married to another woman), and getting walloped in this past years Governor’s race – as the LG candidate – you can’t blame the man for wanting to start over. Question is, will the reset ever lead to another statewide race?
Outgoing Attorney General Greg Stumbo wants his old seat in the state House, not a spot in the U.S. Senate.
Stumbo’s decision comes a day after the freshman lawmaker representing the 95th House District abruptly resigned, even though he had pledged earlier this month to run for re-election.
