Not to mention however much he spent on the Delta House and cheap and easy pizza delivery from Papa Pineapple Pizza Shack in Columbus. He’s a big boy now – off the donor and taxpayer dime – and living off of plate sales. From the Coshocton Tribune:
After pulling campaign expense reports for the past year, 10 Investigates found Dann used campaign-issued debit cards at a variety of restaurants. Among them were places like Starbucks, Bob Evans and Steak n Shake. He also visited restaurants like Rigsby’s and Due Amici, Aker reported.
Records showed that Dann also ate at restaurants and bars in New York, Texas and Las Vegas. In 2007, Dann expensed more than 200 meals for a total of more than $15,000.
Government watchdog Catherine Turcer said that the campaign expenses did not appear to have anything to do with campaigning.
“(Dann) basically created a giant slush fund so he could eat out whenever he felt like it,” Turcer said.
