PolitickerPA reports on how Democrat A.G. candidate John Morganelli keeps his campaign running, raising and collecting funds, hitting events, and getting things done, all with seemingly zero full time staff. In fact, the only folks who DO get paid by Morganelli are a couple of out of state consultants. Running a competent, efficient, not to mention legally compliant statewide campaign doesn’t happen by itself. With all of the checks coming and going, campaign finance reports, and the strict adherence to state campaign laws (oh wait, this is John Morganelli) it just can’t credibly be done.

But, Mr. Morganelli does say that he has an army of volunteers that he’s met during his 16 years as a local DA. That must be some army – trained and experienced in all things related to political campaigns. It’s a wonder that with an army of supporters like that behind him that Morganelli isn’t Governor, or a U.S. Senator. But, maybe in his defense now, this being his THIRD run for A.G. in, and FOURTH effort at any statewide office, Morganelli has an army of true believers – kind of like Lyndon Larouche, Ralph Nader, or Mike Gravelle. That’s probably pretty believable.
