HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Democrat state Sen. Gerald LaValle of Beaver County says he won’t run for re-election when his term expires at the end of the year.The 75-year-old LaValle has been a state senator since 1990.
LaValle has been questioned about his ties to two nonprofit agencies being investigated by state Attorney General Tom Corbett, including the Voluntary Action Center of Beaver County.
