You of course have heard of moveon.org, now Chuck Poochigian’s campaign for California attorney general has launched their own version – www.moveonjerry.org. It’s a very clever move by the Poochigian operation in its effort to remind the citizens of the Golden State what they don’t like about Mayor Brown/Governor Brown/candidate Brown. The Pooch team gets in several good licks, including this woman on the street, and man on the street interviews of citizens most affected by Brown’s policies.
You can have a lot of fun by checking out some great “Brownisms” on subjects like anarchy (“There’s nothing wrong with being an anarchist”, attorney general (“I will be an unusual attorney general, I won’t be like the other ones”), corporations (“The corporation is an out of control Frankenstein”), employers (“Hundreds of thousands of working people are exploited and as attorney general I could and will go after employers with out lawyers to enforce the law”), three strikes laws (“Brown called the ‘three strikes and your out’ legislation a ‘fraud’ that will not reduce crime. Brown said that putting more felons in jail is an ‘old fix’ that has been tried by every governor”), the Unabomber (“Well, you know, the Unabomber had a very important point to make…which of course no one talked about.”), and many more. Check out the whole list here.
