A Canadian company has stopped soliciting Iowa farmers to become pigeon breeders in the midst of an investigation by the Iowa Attorney General’s Office.
Pigeon King International Inc. of Waterloo, Ontario, has recruited Iowa farmers to contract as pigeon growers. Investors were encouraged to invest as much as $50,000 to $100,000 or more to buy hundreds of pairs of the birds, according to a statement from Attorney General Tom Miller’s office.
