AUSTIN — The leader of Texas House Democrats said Monday that he plans to demand to see any documents that might shed light on whether Republican House Speaker Tom Craddick’s office had attempted to exert any 11th-hour influence on the opinion by Attorney General Greg Abbott that a speaker cannot be ousted in midterm except under extreme circumstances.
