HARRISBURG – House Democrats booted embattled ex-Lawrence County lawmaker Frank LaGrotta from their payroll last summer, but cushioned the landing by letting him collect state unemployment benefits.
State Labor and Industry Department spokeswoman Shannon Powers said Wednesday that federal law prohibits releasing details about anyone receiving unemployment benefits.
