FRANKFORT (AP) — Attorney General Greg Stumbo said he’s leaving office with “no regrets” after serving the past four years as the state’s top law enforcement official.
Stumbo’s office dominated headlines with its investigation of former Gov. Ernie Fletcher for alleged hiring violations. Fletcher, politically damaged by the scandal, lost his bid for re-election last year to Gov. Steve Beshear.
