This is probably the beginning of the end for George Tiller and his impact on politics in Kansas. Expect stateless terrorists to try and pack him into a suitcase to take advantage of his radioactivity. Without Democrat A.G. Paul Morrison, Tiller’s really exposed, and you can’t expect Governor Sebelius to provide any cover for him either.
WICHITA, Kansas, January 7, 2007- Four months ago, the anti-abortion group Kansans For Life got the ball rolling on the grand jury process by presenting a petition with 6,900 signatures to the Sedgwick County District Court.
“In Kansas, you have a grand jury system that has no checks and balances in terms of initiating and charging someone,” said Lee Thompson, a Tiller attorney, back in the fall. “And to suggest that is not a harmful situation for someone to face, is not facing reality.”
