It’s never happened – it doesn’t happen – what self
respecting political candidate would do such a thing?
Ok – it has happened, it does happen, and at least one politician
this year does it.
Who? Florida’s own Democrat AG nominee Senator Skip
Campbell has been criticized by Florida’s Senate leadership against using
state resources in his campaign to become the state’s next attorney
general.
Campbell was told to “…remove
the state seal from his campaign Web site. The seal's presence on campaign
material is a violation of Senate rules.”
The Broward County state senator has been holding public hearings
across the state on insurance hikes that “…are
being held to mostly empty rooms.”
Campbell’s Republican opponent in the November General Election is
former U.S. Representative Bill
McCollum.
