AUSTIN — It’s not necessarily the kind of language Texans might expect to be floating around the governor’s office, but “racist,” “vindictive” and “long liquid lunches” are among the phrases that top aides and allies of Gov. Rick Perry used to describe current and former state officials, newly released e-mail records reveal.
The e-mails were among several hundred state records that were saved from the electronic shredders after citizen activist John Washburn fought to get them.
